The Gender Wheel

The color wheel example outlined in The Gender Binary is not a formal model for representing gender, but more of a theoretical representation. Additionally, at least in the way I use it, you can ultimately only “select” one “value” at a time.

The Gender Wheel, originally created by Maya Gonzalez, is a model that addresses multiple aspects of gender and sex at the same time.
